Please note, we do not offer returns or refunds — only exchanges on items under our
“Eligible Exchange Category”.
At Janya's Closet, we do not accept returns or offer cash refunds. However, we do offer exchanges or store credit.
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may request an exchange or opt for store credit. Please note:
- Store credit will be issued after deducting 10% of the product’s MRP as handling/restocking charges.
- For example: If your item costs ₹9,999, ₹999.90 (10%) will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be provided as store credit.
- Shipping charges (e.g., ₹199) are non-refundable.
This policy helps us maintain the quality and exclusivity of our pieces. For further questions or to initiate an exchange, please contact our support team.
The "Eligible Exchange Category" includes items that are non-pre-order and standard. Products/Sizes that fall under pre-order or have been customized, including any Special customizations in size, Items with additional sleeves, Hair accessories, Sample Sale, Custom outfit requested by the customer, are not eligible for return or exchange. Only standard items, which are non-pre-order, can be accepted for exchange.
To initiate an exchange, follow these steps:
- Notify us via email at team@janyascloset.com / thejanyascloset@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the product.
- Provide your order number in the email.
- Our team will review your request and guide you through the process.
- If the desired size or product is unavailable, we offer the option to exchange for a different category item.
All eligible returns, once approved by our customer service team via email, must reach our warehouse with tracking receipt and proof:
- Within 5 days (India)
- Within 30 days (International)
- from the date of receiving the product.
If your return is accepted, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your package.
Store Credit Policy
We issue store credit for eligible returns, which is valid for 30 days from the date of issue and official email confirmation from team@janyascloset.com.
- We will not extend the validity of the store credit under any circumstances.
- No reminders will be sent regarding the expiration of store credit.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to use the store credit within the specified timeline.
- The customer agrees to accept Janya’s Closet’s decision regarding cancellations, returns, and store credit issuance without dispute.
Important Notes
- The goods are your responsibility until they are returned to the warehouse address provided by Janya’s Closet.
- Returns must be approved via email prior to processing. Any returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted and will not be Janya’s Closet’s responsibility.
- Please ensure you obtain shipment registration or a valid receipt for return verification.
- Janya’s Closet may not accept liability for returns without prior email confirmation.

Return Shipping and Customs Charges: As an international customer, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping fees and any applicable Indian customs charges (import / other). Please note that these charges are non-refundable.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue a store credit for adjustment in buying another item or exchange only and no refunds. We will not include any shipping charges or customs fees paid.

Product Condition: The returned item must be in its original condition, unworn, and with all tags and packaging intact. Any signs of use, damage, or alteration may result in the return being rejected.

Non-Returnable Items: All items purchased from sale, promotional coupons, and gift vouchers are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable. Any Items apart from “eligible return category ( styles under budget …….. ) are non-returnable / non exchangeable / non refundable.
Hair Accessories/ custom designs, custom colours are not eligible for returns/ exchange.
Garment Care: Ensure that you are not in contact with perfumes, sprays, creams, or any other chemicals while trying the garments.
Pet Hair and Scratches: The items being returned should be free of any pet hair or nail scratches. Please keep them away from animals and pets.
- The return must be approved by JANYAS CLOSET before it can be sent back.
- Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, which is non-refundable.
- The customer is responsible for the goods until they are returned to JANYAS CLOSET.

Our Cancellation Policy states that you may only cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. After this time period, we will not entertain any cancellation requests. However, in the event that the order has not been approved or processed by Janyas Closet, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the entire amount to you as per our usual business practice.

After carefully inspecting the returned or exchanged products and confirming they align with our exchange policy, we commit to processing all exchange within 7 business days from the receipt of your parcel. Upon completion, an exchange credit note will be issued, accounting for the eligible amount while considering and adjusting shipping costs / Rto / taxes and any additional exchange charges.
