Why We Started This

Every child grows fast. An outfit worn with so much love for a birthday, a function, or a festival, often gets worn just once or twice, and then it sits too small for next season.

We didn't want that fabric, that craftsmanship, to simply go to waste. So we created the Janya's Closet Buy-Back Program — send your outgrown Janya's Closet pieces back to us, and instead of it sitting unused, it's responsibly recycled as our shared contribution to a more sustainable future.

Every piece we receive is sent to our textile recycling partners, who transform it into quilts, bedsheets, and other reusable materials. Nothing goes to landfill. Nothing goes to waste.

In return, you receive a 30% OFF coupon code to use on your next Janya's Closet order — because good for your family and good for the planet should always go hand in hand.

To be clear: this is a sustainability initiative first, not a discount promotion. Our goal is to encourage more families to recycle responsibly rather than let outgrown outfits go to waste — the coupon is simply our way of saying thank you for being part of that effort.

This isn't just a return policy. It's a shared commitment — yours and ours — to a more sustainable, thoughtful way of dressing our children.

How It Works

Send us your Janya's Closet outfit — it must be an authentic Janya's Closet piece, with the brand label intact at the back of the garment.
Email us (sales@janyascloset.com) photos of the item along with the label. If the label has been cut or removed, share your invoice or order confirmation instead, as proof of purchase.
Once our team verifies and approves your item, we'll email you the return address.
Ship the item to us — return shipping is at your own cost.
We receive and log your parcel at our office.
We send you a 30% OFF coupon code, valid for 15 days, to apply at checkout.
Your item is sent to our recycling partners for responsible recycling.

Terms & Conditions

1. What You Can Send

Only authentic Janya's Closet items are eligible for this program. Each item must have the original Janya's Closet label intact at the back of the garment.

2. Proof of Authenticity

If the label has been cut or is missing, you must email us your invoice or order confirmation as proof that the item is a genuine Janya's Closet purchase.

3. Verification & Return Address

Along with your item, email us clear photos showing the label at the back of the garment (or your proof of purchase, if the label is missing). Our team will review this and share the return address only once your item has been approved.

4. Return Shipping

The cost of shipping the item to us must be borne by the customer.

5. Reward

Once we receive and verify your item, we will issue a 30% OFF coupon code via WhatsApp or email.

6. Minimum Order Value

The coupon is valid only on orders of ₹6,999 or above (product value only). Shipping charges are not counted toward this ₹6,999 threshold under any circumstance.

7. Applicable Only on Regular-Priced Products

This coupon applies only to products at full/regular price. It is not applicable on sale, clearance, or already-discounted products.

8. Not Combinable

This coupon cannot be combined with any other discount code, promotional offer, or store credit. Two promotional offers can never be combined under any circumstance — only one form of discount can be applied per order.

9. Coupon Validity

Your coupon code must be applied at checkout within 15 days of issue. This 15-day window is fixed and system-tracked — it cannot be extended for any reason, and no reminder will be sent before it expires. Unused or expired codes will lapse and cannot be reinstated.

10. Single Use

Each coupon code is valid for one order only and cannot be split across multiple orders.

11. Maximum Discount Cap

The discount under this program is capped at a flat 30% of the order value and will never exceed this, regardless of how many coupon codes you hold or redeem. Only one coupon code can be applied per order — codes cannot be combined with each other, and the order must be at full/regular price with no other discount applied.

12. Return of Ineligible or Unredeemed Items

If your item is found not to meet our program terms (for example, it isn't an authentic Janya's Closet piece, or fails inspection), or if you're unable to place your qualifying order within the 15-day coupon window, we will return the item to you — but only if you email us within 30 days from the date we received your parcel, and only once you've paid the return shipping cost in advance. If we don't hear from you within this 30-day window, your item is automatically sent for recycling, and it can no longer be returned to you or exchanged for a coupon. This does not affect the 15-day coupon validity window, which remains fixed and cannot be extended.

13. Our Right to Decline

We reserve the right to decline any request that appears to be for resale, bulk-farming of coupon codes, or misuse of the program rather than genuine participation.

14. Non-Transferable

Coupon codes issued under this program are specific to the customer they were issued to and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.

15. Program Changes

Janya's Closet reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time, with reasonable notice to customers.

1. Does the item I send have to be from Janya's Closet?

Yes — only authentic Janya's Closet items are accepted. Each item should have the original Janya's Closet label intact at the back.

2. What if the label has been cut or removed?

You can email us (sales@janyascloset.com) your invoice or order confirmation as proof of purchase instead, along with photos of the item.

3. Do I need to keep tags or original packaging?

Tags and packaging aren't required, but the label at the back should be intact wherever possible — it helps us verify your item quickly.

4. How much discount do I get?

A flat 30% OFF coupon code, valid on your next order of ₹6,999 or above (excluding shipping).

5. Can I use this coupon on sale items?

No — the coupon applies only to regular-priced products, not sale or clearance items.

6. Can I combine this with another discount code or my store credit?

No — this coupon cannot be combined with any other discount, promo code, or store credit. Only one discount applies per order.

7. Can I use two of my coupon codes together for a bigger discount?

No — only one coupon code can be applied per order. The discount is always capped at a flat 30%, no matter how many valid codes you hold.

8. What if my order is below ₹6,999?

The coupon won't apply. You'll need to reach the ₹6,999 minimum (excluding shipping) to use it.

9. How long is my coupon valid?

15 days from the date it's issued, and it must be applied at checkout. This window is fixed and cannot be extended, and we don't send reminders before it expires — it's on you to use it in time.

10. Who pays for return shipping?

You do — shipping the item to us is at your own cost. We issue your coupon once we've received and verified your parcel.

11. Can I get my item back if it doesn't qualify, or I don't place my order in time?

If your item doesn't meet our program terms, or you're unable to place your order within 15 days, we can return it to you — but only if you email us within 30 days of our receiving your parcel, and only once you've paid the return shipping cost in advance. If we don't hear from you within 30 days, your item is automatically sent for recycling and can't be returned or exchanged for a coupon after that.

12. What happens to the clothes I send?

They are sent to our textile recycling partners and recycled into quilts, bedsheets, and other reusable materials. The item itself is not returned to you — this is our shared contribution to a more sustainable, less wasteful future.

13. Can I get cash instead of a coupon?

No — coupons cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or refunded for cash.
